We then transitioned to the present. Specifically, how menstrual products look today, where they are sold, and how they are presented in stores. We looked into the virtual world again as well, to see how menstrual product manufacturers present their products: what offers they extend, what their advertisements say, and what general impressions they give. We collected products, comparing types, brands and noted the product differences between countries. What we found was a general medicinal, and not to mention ugly, packaging for almost all of the products we inspected. How is a woman supposed to carry these things with her in good taste? Is is possible to create a tasteful and hygienic second packaging?
You want me to put that where?!

hmm.. i think in certain cultural contexts, the packaging should not make its function obvious. for example, when i was in japan and went to the convenience store to buy some, the lady at the cashier made sure to place it in a paper bag, and then in another bag to be sure to hide the contents. somehow it has to be inconspicious in certain cultures.
(by the way, i am interested in applying for this MACD program too, so it would be cool to get some personal opinion from you guys, like how u guys find the classes/projects and stuff)Thanks!
